Huebet joined the team halfway through the design stages for this new Middle School, and immediately went to work evaluating a selecting the materials and technique that would be able to best serve the budget and goals. The design features staggered 鈥減ods鈥� for the different grade levels or functions. The external materials are low-maintenance, meant to last through years of use without extra finishing. The interiors are large, spacious, and light-filled to be as conducive for learning as possible. The finished product 鈥� which includes a handful of athletic fields, commons area, and cafeteria 鈥� was completed two months early.
