The Huebet Team commenced work on the AC Marriott Hotel project in downtown Coeur d’Alene on November 4, 2024. The endeavor encompasses a 2-story underground parking garage, six hotel levels, and a rooftop bar. On December 23 and 24, 2024, Huebet engaged Peck and Peck, the civil subcontractor, to clear and grade the site and to establish a layout for the shoring system to be implemented by our shoring subcontractor, Condon Johnson. Condon Johnson mobilized to the site on January 3, 2025, initiating pile drilling on January 8, and completed the installation of soldier piles by January 23.

Following this, Peck and Peck returned to the site to begin excavating the necessary lifts, enabling Condon Johnson to install legging and bracing in accordance with the prevailing soil conditions. The mass excavation and legging operations continued over the following three months, extending through April. Subsequently, Huebet coordinated with Everett, our concrete subcontractor, to commence the placement of footing and column pads at the excavation's base. Over the next six months, Everett achieved significant progress, successfully raising the entire parking garage structure to the level 1 deck. This phase included the construction of the elevator core, stair core, two slab-on-grade ramps, two elevated ramps, and the elevated level 1 deck.

A key milestone for the project was the removal of the internal shoring system installed by Condon Johnson. This step was contingent on the successful placement and full strength of the second ramp. We met our milestone deadline of August 28, 2025, allowing for the removal of the shoring system. Once the bracing was removed, Everett quickly completed the last ramp and finalized work on the level 1 deck, aligning with our project timeline.
